Sundays are always our most hectic day; but compounding the regular “getting ready for church” mania with the insanity that was our Easter this year, and that “hecticness” took on a whole new level. Since we had three guests scheduled to come over for Easter dinner, I had to get my dessert in the oven and DONE before leaving for church, which I couldn’t skip because I was the pianist. Throw in Easter Baskets, getting the kids dressed and ready for Easter (which means doing the over-and-above acts of curling E’s hair and such), plus having to get myself ready, taking pictures was probably the last thing I should have worried about. However, since the chances of them making it back from Sunday school and church with their clothes in the freshly-ironed state were nil, I opted to snap a few quick shots right before they left with daddy for Sunday school. These two show the range of emotions and activities the kids underwent for pictures.

Oh, and that cake? Heavenly Italianess!
