Maud Hart Lovelace Reading Challenge

My friend SM, over at her book blog, is running a Maud Hart Lovelace Reading Challenge. I’m joining in, picking my book(s) to read, and putting the linky here for you to sign up if you want to.

I’m reading the first five books in the Betsy-Tacy series, the first four in a “Collection” book and the fifth, Heaven to Betsy, in a separate library volume. I will post my reviews as I finish the books, and will be linking my post(s) to my friend’s blog as well.

Reading Challenge MHL

Just a little bragging: I designed the blog-badge for my friend. I love doing design, and this was a really fun one to make animated (though for some reason it’s not showing up animated on my site. Which I’m sad about, but I’ll get over.

    I loved the Betsy-Tacy books growing up. I have all of them- aren’t there 8 or so? They’re wonderful. But I don’t think I’m in the mood to re-read them right now…

    I just finished Lovelace’s “Early Candlelight”. I’ve always been a huge fan of Betsy-Tacy. 🙂
